Located just south of the Roosevelt Reservoir is a small park containing tennis courts (which you can reserve online) and a kids playground. It is named after V.K. Froula, the first principal of Roosevelt High School from 1922 until his death in 1938. That makes sense because the high school is just a couple blocks south of this playground.
It runs the length of the block and is a quiet and peaceful part of the neighborhood. There's a lot of street parking which gives easy access but other than that there's not much else here. There is a lot of a grassy area but for now that part is pretty much undeveloped. read more
