My partner and I walked by a chalk sign on the street that said brunch now available and followed it down the steps to the cozy, warm, and clean restaurant. We were the only patrons for the hour we spent there which was a shame because the food and service were wonderful.
The huevos rancheros was great but would be better with a protein option. The hollandaise on the avocado benny was a little bit lemony but it worked alright with the dish. The veggies and fruits on both dishes tasted like they were picked up from a farmers market that morning.
Our server was friendly, attentive, and really all you could want. She scoured the restaurant for sangria ingredients which she didn't think they had at the time; made us a whole pitcher of iced coffee to refill our glasses; and gave us advice on local spots to check out.
We'll definitely be back and are excited to see the live music and open mic nights. read more
