Function PDX is cleverly denoted as f(x), which the mathematician in me appreciates. It is an event space, and the pop-up restaurant it was hosting is what brought me here. The space is clean, well laid-out, modern, cozy, and inviting. It is versatile in what it can accommodate with tables that fold up against the wall and out of the way when they're not needed. There is a bar, and lots of shelves for tableware, as well as sufficient room for cooking. Street parking is difficult and crowded, so be sure to plan accordingly. It is recessed from the street further than the other businesses on the street, and signage is very inconspicuous, so it is easy to overlook.
