I've heard of Fuzion before but didn't know they opened a north side location until I spotted it from across the street! (I actually wasn't aware of all the new construction happening on that side of 97th st, but I digress) I scoped out the menu online (and it's large, unique, and straight up fabulous). They have 8 flavors that they change out seasonally. The current summer flavors (ie) banana cream pie, lemon meringue, root beer, etc) sound awesome. I just wish I could stuff my face with all of them, but alas, I am confined by my waistline, so I could only indulge in a couple. The donuts were pillowy soft with lots of filling inside. I had a root beer and a lychee raspberry, and both were spot on for flavor. My husband enjoyed his Ferrero rocher, although he said he liked the icing more than the filling. I would totally come here again and eat my way through the menu. Plus, I really like the fact that they decided to open up on the north side. Great customer service, too. We were helped out by Prab, who was very informative, friendly, and she put up with my little who was in love with the donut display. Free parking in the Plaza lot. Kind of a pain in the butt exciting if you have to go northbound on 97th though. read more
