Ged & Bart's is the weirdest name for a Japanese food stall ever. It doesn't sound even remotely Japanese, but it is honest-to-goodness Japanese. Ged & Bart's is this Japense food stall in Agno, and it has the distinction of offering probably the cheapest Japanese rice meals in Taft. I mean, they're not as good as places like Ichiro or whatever, but they're really cheap.
Ged & Bart's offers all your typical Japanese dishes - Teppanyaki, Teriyaki, various Katsudons, and all them other Japanese foods you've come to expect in every Japanese menu in the Philippines. And it actually doesn't taste half bad - I quite like the sweet teriyaki suace that they use, because that's my favorite kind of meat sauce. Even if the name doesn't sound that Japanese, the food definitely is, so I guess it makes up for it. Try it if you're itching for a cheap Japanese fix. read more
