My partner and I went here for our last dinner in Killarney. We arrived around 6:15pm and there were only a couple of other tables seated. We wanted to see Ireland's take on Thai food, being regulars at our local Thai place back home. It was a cold and windy day and when we walked in it was warm and cozy and we immediately felt comforted. We were seated immediately and had time to appreciate the wonderful decor.
I ordered the pad see ew and a strawberry daiquiri mocktail and my partner ordered the chicken in green curry with a side of rice and a Thai tea. The pad see ew was very good and had a good amount of veg compared to noodle and meat. The noodles were very thin and short, which I wasn't expecting as I'm used to thick egg noodles back home. The mocktail was delicious and refreshing after a long day. My partner's curry was incredibly flavorful and had just the right amount of spice to it. His Thai tea was also good and was sweeter than he was used to getting in the states.
Our server was friendly and attentive. We went up front to get the bill, it wasn't dropped at the table. The restaurant filled up pretty quickly after we were seated so I think we came at just the right time. We were there for just under an hour total.
This was a great final meal in town and I'm glad we went! I would definitely recommend this place. read more
