As others have mentioned in previous reviews, this family owned and operated business is like taking a step back in time when shopkeepers knew everyone in the community, took pride in their service and were truly good and honest people. I had a white gold wedding set that I wanted updated to yellow. I had a few photos of ideas in mind and took them to Gtown Jewelry. They talked about making sure my 2 1/2 carat center stone wasn't vulnerable to loss being set to high. We talked about a new setting that wouldn't 'spin' on my finger since my knuckles are getting arthritis and how to keep a revised setting from spinning around on my finger. They were the most helpful, gracious, expedicious jewler I have ever trusted. And I do mean trust. They are a salt of the earth family working together to do great work. They can convert your jewelry from white to yellow gold and not force you to buy a new setting. Earrings too. They do basic watch battery replacement (as of this writing starting at $15), which I have found to be fair and reasonable with my husband's watch collection. They buy silver and gold, have a nice small collection of gemstones and diamond items, and can custom create pretty much anything.
