I'm not sure why the negative reviews! Honestly, Ging's deserves 5 stars. I've been coming out to this area my entire life, spending my summers in sound beach. I've always known about Ging's, as it's been there for many many decades, but the last time I was there was when I was a child. I decided to do some landscaping at my summer house, and was looking for a specific type of ornamental grass. After trying all the big box stores as well as garden dept on 112, I stopped at Ging's. I was blown away. Ging's nursery was one of the best nurseries I've ever been to. Their selection, quality, neatness, and health of the plants was the best I've ever seen. Every plant they had, had cards written out with the price and key description of what the plant is like..... the prices were the same if not less than any other place too. The staff was helpful, and so friendly. Left with three huge grasses, 5 smaller ones, and 5 lavender plants, all for under $320. You should definitely check them out! read more
