I am here from NY visiting my sister and while being on vacation, i thought I would pamper myself for New Year's Eve. I read a multitude of reviews of surrounding nail salons and came across this salon. It looked beautiful and read a multitude of reviews with photos and was very impressed with the quality and skill of work. I booked an appointment online; super easy. I went to my appointment and had to wait a little bit. Not a deal breaker for I know it is the holidays and I was in no rush. But later I find out she was running late coming to work...again, not a big deal. As my tech proceeds to do my nails, I unfortunately notice the lack of skill level. I notice the tech is not taking their time prepping my nails and it feels rushed. Final note, I did not get the same skill level as what I saw online. My tech was so nice but was not skilled enough for my request. I have attached the picture I showed my tech and the quality I did receive. I should have had my tech forget about the snowflakes. There was a bit of a struggle with it. I am fully aware that I am to blame for not advocating for myself. I really do try to be polite and positive. I dislike confrontation and I am not one to be rude. The tech mentioned how they wanted me to be happy with their work. Again, very very sweet tech. I am just not content with the final product. I visit my sister several times a year and unfortunately, if I return here, I would definitely book a different tech until this one is more skilled. read more
