While out on a touring drive around the area we found ourselves in Pendleton around noontime so we quickly scanned the available eats on YP and picked Good Eats. Our arrival was around 1:15 and the place had available seating for us. The menu's had a good selection of the usual sandwiches so we opted for a couple things off the special board. The first was a homemade chili (went for a cup vs bowl) as the wait staff said it was spicy :). The second pick was a homemade meatloaf sandwich with a side of fries which queued us up - ready for the landing. The place was clean and wait staff were very attentive and kind.
The food arrived and we dug in, the chili lived up to its advertising and was tasty - came with crackers. The meatloaf however landed, looked inviting but upon tasting it was pretty bland (no real flavor) and was dryish .. had mayo and lettuce but they were of little help. Sadly the go to was ketchup. The fries were over seasoned and very salty - happily shared with the chili order. At the end of the day, an OK eat but not close to what a 5 star would call out so I give it an honest 3+. Will be go back ? Thinking we'll try another spot first. read more
