Located right by Walmart Supercenter.
Goodwill on Dec 23 was understandably chaotic with shoppers, and things were a little disorganized by the evening when I was there.
Staff had made a big effort to organize things but none of the customers were trying to keep it that way. It was an effort to look through a lot of half-functional stuff to find useful items, though they were departmented, which helps. I did not look long at any department other than bakeware but this was a medium-sized store with a decent volume of items.
Visiting Jekyll, I was in need of extra baking dishes for Xmas dinner. Every year our rentals never have enough.
I did find a glass bread baking dish, which wasn't exactly what I needed but close enough. Shelves looked sparse but it could've been the time of year. There were a lot of people there shopping. I had never been to a thrift store so close to Christmas so idk if it was for gifts or something like last-minute spare housewares like I needed?
I do need to add that no one was available on the floor for assistance and employees were doubled up at registers just to talk to each other. I felt like I was interrupting the ladies to pay. read more
