My friends and I stopped here for the Green county fair on a nice Saturday afternoon to check it out while killing time before going out to dinner. Parking is all in the surrounding neighborhood so you will park blocks away. This county fair had all the fair stuff with animals, rides, food, beer tent attractions and amusement games but it was oddly different because people weren't doing anything but walking around. The carnies were standing in front of empty rides as well as games of chance. We went back after 9 pm thinking that it would liven up but no, still idle games/rides and kind of pathetic for a county fair, is it the economic times ?. read more
