Gregory's coffee was my go coffee house when working in NYC (manhattan). Their house drip was the best coffee I've had! Smooth and bold but not bitter. I recently went to the Paramus Nj location on a Sunday. I was a bit disappointed due to the fact that the coffee tasted weak as if they're were not paying attention when preparing it and/or trying to save money. And to top it off, they ran out of half & half and it was only 10am! Maybe it was just that day but on a weekend?! Looks like the staff was lacking in preparedness. It was their house brew, nothing complicated and I was let down. That's why this location deserves 3 stars. The interior is still beautiful and luxurious. It was clean and even with my disappointment with my order, the staff was courteous. There is a drive thru for convenience. It is much needed since on weekends the parking lot is not enough to support the 4 major businesses there: Juicy platters, nothing Bundt cake, Gregory's coffee and Qdoba. If I return to this location I'll try something else other than their house brew. Maybe it'll taste better like I remember. Their pastries and vegan options are always a plus and delicious. read more
