Elderflower liqueur, that's what I wanted in order to make my champagne cocktail drink. I knew enough to call first as I was not sure if they even knew what that was. To my delight, they had both kinds, though St. Germaine was a little on the hefty $$ side. I went with the organic elderberry flower liqueur instead. This particular liquor store ends up being the first one I call because I've not always gotten the same answers from the other stores nearby, when asking for things out of the ordinary, especially in the eastco hood. These folks always seem to have the ingredient though, and they are always in good moods as well. This is definitely an area with lots of working class folks, and some of them would give you their shirt off their backs anyway. It's got that nice neighborhood vibe to it as well. read more
