Located conveniently on the main strip of Egg Harbor, Grumpy's provides the perfect ending to dinner. Or if you can't wait that long, a quick cool bite. We were on our way to the market when we spotted Grumpy's across the street. It was calling us, so we stopped inside. Greeted warmly and asked about samples, the staff is very friendly. To the left, there is an assortment of flavored popcorn (the chocolate banana popcorn was spot on), and old school popcorn machine. To the right, assorted root beers and sodas (you can make your own 2/4/6 pack). Straight ahead, the ice cream. Make your way there. After sampling the deliciousness that was the Mackinac fudge (what remained, as there wasn't enough for a scoop), I ordered a scoop of Shipwrecked, which was vanilla ice cream with swirled caramel and splintered almonds. OMG IT WAS DELICIOUS. The sweet and saltiness of the caramel was PERFECT, combined with the slight sweetness of the ice cream... My eyes are fluttering just at the memory of it. I will definitely be returning to try more of their ice cream. read more
