Excellent little restaurant/pub not far from central Berlin. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and were very helpful with their recommendations. The pig knuckle which was what I came for was excellent! Super tender and flavorful with unctuous fatty goodness. It paired excellent with mustard and a slightly sweet sauerkraut. I wanted to try the potato dumpling and they were happy to make a side dish so I could try it. Also tried their Hackethals lager which was very good a dark and slightly sweet caramelized lager and also a foussebasse (lemonade soda kind of drink). The apple streudel was ok, nice apple and pretty presentation, but flavor was just ok for me. Really pleasant dinner in a very cute pub and really excellent staff. Loved it!
