Cozy, Flavorful, and Absolutely Worth It! Stopped by The Halfway Café for a quick bite and left completely satisfied! I ordered a cup of chili and the Halfway Reuben.. and let me tell you, both were absolute hits. Mind you, I am from maryland and just visiting boston for the weekend and needed to find a good food spot for a sandwich! The chili was rich, hearty, and had just the right amount of kick. It tasted homemade, like something simmered with care! As for the Halfway Reuben? Easily one of the best I've had. The corned beef was tender and flavorful, the sauerkraut was fresh (not soggy!), and the marble rye was toasted to perfection. The dressing tied it all together in the most delicious way. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. This place gives off strong neighborhood gem vibes.
