I went on the 2.5 hour trip and it was an exciting experience. Saw a humpback whale with her calf and a pod of dolphins. It was pretty cool.
Tips and FYI for interested parties:
- it's very easy to get sea sick so either take some meds before hand or stare at the horizon and sit in the middle seats in the inner cabin
- if you don't get sea sick and want the best views, you can get a seat on the bow (front side). Best view but exposed to the elements
- even better, if you sit on the ground near the front. It feels like a roller coaster when the boat cuts through a wave. But DON'T stand, you will fall read more
