I'm surprised at how many sushi bars we have in the AV. But not all sushi places are the same. This is the newest out of all of them and we decided to give this place a shot. Located at where Mythos used to be and right beside Jamba Juice on 10th st. W. I wondered how they would stack against the ones we've tried. Sure enough there's a new sheriff in town and it blows them all away. If your into the low quality all you can eat sushi this place is not for you. If you want authentic quality sushi then this is your place. For me this is the best sushi in the AV. The ambience is great and you wouldn't be embarrased to go here for a date or a casual night out with friends and family. Nice flat screen monitors all around that play sports. But quiet enough to have good conversation over some beer, wine, or sake. As far as service goes they will take good care of you. As far as prices go I would say they're prices are fair. They have good portions and a lot bigger cuts compared to the other places we've been to. Quality is top notch as well as sushi chefs imported from Japan. We enjoyed the sashimi salad, soft shell crab appetizer, spider roll, juliet roll, and the chef's choice sushi. This is definitely our new favorite sushi bar in town.
