Ordered the brisket sandwich that comes with tallow fires. I also added an order of the mac and cheese. The sandwich was pretty good but maybe just too "busy" with the sauces. True brisket should carry the cart on its own, with no or minimal sauce. In this case the sauces just took too much attention away from the well smoked meat. The fries were great as they are fried in tallow and looked to be fresh cut. The Mac and cheese was pretty decent and the accompanying salsa (?) it was topped with wasn't necessary.
Hattie's is located inside the Cross-Eyed Cricket which is a pretty cool place, at least during the day time when I have been there. Plenty of TVs to watch sports and a nice bar. The bartender was great and very friendly. read more
