A proper barber shop. A haircut is eight notes and a beard trim is a quid. I've tried out all sorts of fancy places and 30 pound coifs and stylists and I always end up back here.
It's just around the corner from where I live now but my mum used to bring me here when I was a mere nipper. It's a reliable, friendly, local business that does what it says on the tin and has been snipping since 1991.
Headroom has a following. They know everyone who comes in and it's not just blokes. Plenty of women and children seek out these chaps. It gets busy after school during the week and has a queue on a Saturday.
I like to pop in during the week, you rarely have to wait and you can shoot the breeze, get the latest gossip on the Seagulls and listen to Radio 2 (it's always on!).
