We went to Hell's Kitchen for my birthday. After making reservations, we were informed of the dress code being business casual. We arrived a little early so we waited in the lounge for a few minutes until we were escorted to our table. Looking around the dining area, I saw there were some patrons that were not in business casual wear so the dress code is not strictly enforced. The dining area and table setting is impressive. In a matter of fact, I was impressed once stepping into the restaurant. I had the She Devil to drink, then had the Shrimp Cocktail as an appetizer. I was hesitant to try the Butternut Squash Soup but, glad I did as it was a nice way to warm up on a cold and rainy night. For the main course, I had the famous Beef Wellington and asked to include a Lobster Tail which the server happily obliged. Then had the Chocolate Sin Cake for dessert. After having dessert, the wonderful restaurant staff brought out a complimentary birthday cake for me. The birthday cake was a mini version of their Sticky Toffee Pudding. The foods and drinks were absolutely delicious and unashamedly indulgent with a focus on high-quality ingredients and strong flavor profiles. The service from the staff was excellent as they were very prompt with clearing the tables as we went through the courses of our meal and often checked in on us to ensure we were pleased.
