HomeTech has been around for ages! I couldn't tell you exactly how long or their last location before this one on Burnside, but what I can tell you is that the owner knows his stuff. As a kid, my friends and I would go to HomeTech to sell, trade or buy video games for our GameCubes or N64's. After years passed, I remember we stoped going to HomeTech but I'm not sure why. It either moved, shut down for a bit or we just were preoccupied with other shenanigans.
About a year or two ago, I was cruising down Burnside and see the sign for HomeTech and had to stop in. I now pop in there whenever I'm in the area or looking for some DVD's or any retro gaming item.
The games are a bit more expensive for used games, but they're generally in good condition. They have DVD's for $3 and Blue-Rays for $5. They have some vinyls (not mainstream ones, but you may find something you like), they have a ton a ton a ton of games for PS3, X-Box 360, PS2, N64, GameBoy... etc etc. They even have some VHS tapes, monitors, Wii accessories, consoles. They have lots!
If you're looking for some retro gaming or to sell, I definitely recommend HomeTech. read more
