For my first visit, I ordered the Iced Honey Bun Latte and a Banana Mousse pastry that may be one of the most charming desserts currently being served in Bergen County. The pastry arrives looking almost whimsical, a cluster of tiny banana-shaped creations resting atop a cookie base, each one fully edible. The mousse itself is airy and delicate, with the texture of a banana custard that leans more elegant than sugary. It is soft, balanced, and surprisingly refined. The café serves its iced beverages in impressively sturdy plastic cups that feel less disposable and more like something designed to be reused.
