When you do what you love it just shows and Honobono certainly shines so bright it captures everyone's attention with curiosity of their exclusive pop-ups menu. I've had the utmost joyous luck to have a seat in this May 28th event...what a way to close off my birthday and oh my gosh you have no idea how thrilled I was and what a menu Himi-chan or Hi-chan is what she likes to called has created. The effervescent greeting I received from Hi-chan is so infectious the genuine smile I felt through her mask was so warm and touching I felt the need to thank her for such kindness. Like any celebration we start with a drink "cheers!" and today we had four to choose from... - Amazake Lavender (May 28th exclusive limited 15) - Konbucha Limon Cello - Honocafe Latte - Honoice Tea and you know I must have the super exclusive drink for this date and gosh what a stunner!!! Amazake Lavender has Amazake with lavender syrup, organic butterfly pea tea, ginger sparkling soda and fresh herbs garnished with a sprig of mint and edible pansy flower...what a delightful mature flavor, with each sip I savored the layers of delight is simply magical! To start my Honobono journey through Italy you're able to go Royal with "Honobono Regale" a trio sampler that includes: - Caesar salad with vegan bacon and crouton (the best I've ever had!) - Honopaodequeijo served so warm and fluffy the best accompaniment! - Mini Tiramisu...Honobono elegant cup of joy Main course is a choice of - HonoLasagna or what I chose is the - HonoBolognese Using their Onomeat (soy) that's incredibly textured to mimic meat does exactly that along with organic carrots, mushrooms and tomatoes are all slowly simmered to a harmonious symphonic sauce that's just incredibly delicious along with spaghetti the layers of flavors Hi-chan creates just makes my palate go wild!
