The food here is okay. The service is not over the top and the cleanliness is not all that terrific either, but some entrees tastes very good especially during their competitively priced lunch time specials. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken with fried rice and a side order of spring rolls. I didn't care so much for the dried-out texture of the spring rolls and will never order that again at Hot Wok, but the Kung Pao Chicken and fried rice was addictively blissful . The lady behind the counter said the food does contain some MSG, but I was really in the mood for Chinese and placed the order anyway. I didn't have a physical (unaware if I had an unnoticeable mental reaction) reaction to the food at all, like I have had in the past with restaurants that exclusively serve dim sum in which some plates are packed with MSG which definitely gave me an inconvenient physical reaction within ten minutes of eating it - never again!
But all in all, I would come back to Hot Wok. Maybe not on a regular basis, but every so often. read more
