We needed a set of 4 MCM teak vintage dining chairs reupholstered after we had continued to use them all through COVID and beyond while the foam disintegrated and fell apart. They had been poorly DIY-upholestered by the previous owner and we used them that way for years and let them get into really bad shape. We were referred to Hugo by the staff at Green Shag, who recommended text message as the best way to get in touch as it's easier for English/Spanish translation and communication. I text Hugo a photo of the chairs and he sent me a quote and instructions on how much fabric would be needed the same day. Hugo provided the foam, and we dropped off the chairs and fabric on a Tuesday. The chairs were completed by Sunday. They are beautifully done and I felt that the cost was more than fair and a great value. We would definitely enlist Hugo's help again whenever we next have upholstery needs. read more
