KCC farmers market is now on tuesday night (4-7) as well as sat mornings! YAY! I dont have to wake up at the crack of dawn, nor fight my way through the throngs of japanese tourists. I stopped by Hui in the Pot towards the end of the market, and they had run out of rice. My friend and I got a fried Opah plate, which was $8 (discounted because there was no rice). It was served on a bed of salad and a side of yummy purple sweet potato mash. The Opah was definitely one of the highlights of the market for me. read more
