Best pizza of my ENTIRE LIFE. NO JOKE. I was surprised that pizzeria camaldoli did not have a name on yelp yet- it is DELICIOUS, fast, pretty, and friendly. The staff are so friendly and they are always right at your service immediately. It is one of the best pizza restaurants I have ever been to. They also cook the pizza right in front of you! I had the heart-shaped pizza cimabue, which is a huge thin-crust topped with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, arugula, shaved parmesan, and iberian ham. The pizza seems huge but it is enough for one person trust me it's so ooey gooey you'll want a whole one all to yourself! I can't believe I found this amazing restaurant! A local in Mercado Centrale told me about it and now I'm coming back here every time I come to Florence. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. I would come back here every day if I could. They also speak very good English here and are very helpful. I give this restaurant 5 stars! BENE! read more
