IDDU is a small cafe in the Old Kensington area. They are open for most of the day and are dog-friendly! I went here on a date around 8pm on a Monday. No reservations were needed, but I would recommend them just in case it gets busy. To start, we ordered the rosemary focaccia with olive oil, which was a great starter for the Italian meal we were about to indulge ourselves in. We also ordered the smoked burrata with aubergine. It came with toasty crackers and the combination of the cheese and aubergine was fantastic! For the main dish, we ordered the special of the day, which was penne and aubergine pasta. The pasta was al dente and was a great vegetarian option for Meatless Monday's! The drinks here are moderately priced and pretty large compared to the bars in the area. The service is attentive and friendly. I will definitely be returning here to try some of their desserts and some coffee or tea! read more
