India Gate is one of our go-to's for Indian food in Western New York. We never have to wait for a table, and often we're the only ones in there, so for awhile I worried they weren't getting enough business to stay open, but from the orders going in and out I suspect that do a lot of take-out. Located right on Elmwood, not far from Buff state, the place is decorated with statutes and black light art, so not fancy but fun. The menu is expansive but we have our favorites we keep going back to: Biryani, korma, kakhani, the classics, and we have never been disappointed. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get, especially the biryani which is big enough for two people and the naan is downright cheap. read more
