We went to Indus last Saturday around 8 PM with a party of 10. We were just looking for some authentic Indian food with reasonable prices and decided to walk in without a reservation. We got lucky and only had to wait about 20 minutes.
PRO TIP: If you have a big group, definitely make a reservation well in advance. The restaurant is on the smaller side and has a limited number of tables.
Once we were seated, the vibe was very calm and totally family-friendly. The food is absolutely worth trying and the prices are very reasonable.
THE HIGHLIGHTS:
* PACHI MIRCHI KODI VEPUDU: This was the best thing we ordered. It was creamy, the spices were perfectly balanced, and the fresh flavors honestly reminded me of home back in India.
* KURU KURE GOBI: Really unique and special, definitely get this.
* MUTTON SOUP: Very good, you could tell the meat was fresh.
JUST OKAY:
Even though you can tell their seafood is fresh, the RAYALASEEMA ROYYALA VEPUDU (prawns) was just alright. The rotis and the cocktails were also pretty average.
Overall, it's a really good spot to satisfy your cravings. Just remember to book a table in advance if you have a big family and definitely try the KODI VEPUDU and KUR KURE GOBI 65 read more
