Absolutely one of my favorite places in Indy and I love that I can walk there now. When I first moved to Indy, their old location at the end of Mass Ave was the first local place I discovered and it was a favorite stop to bring every visitor from out of town. Their current location in Fountain Square is beautiful! So bright and nice and full of books for every taste, age, budget, and genre. Also all kinds of gift options for book lovers. They rotate out different themed sections at small tables for awareness months, seasons, current events, etc. They have a variety of community events, and accept used book donations the first Friday of the month. Plus all proceeds support their adult literacy program, so it's easy to feel great about whatever you buy. They're in an awesome spot right in the heart of Fountain Square, so street parking is plentiful and free, with lots of fun stores and restaurants nearby. read more
