Oh my goodness, I had such a relaxing weekend in Suncadia, and in large part - I owe it to the accommodations made at the Inn.
As soon as you walk in, you see the receptionist area, which is unlike any other hotel or lodging facility. Instead of walking up to the counter, you take a seat in one of the comfy chairs at the receptionist desk, treating you like you are a VIP here. It was a great first impression.
When I walked in my room, I loved everything about it! It really was reminiscent of a lodge in the woods, as the decor reflected that. The doors to the bathroom were even barn doors, which I thought was such a nice touch! But there were so many positive of the room like the deep-soaking tub, provided robes, a private outdoor area with rocking chairs and my favorite part was the fireplace! I didn't want to leave my room, or more particularly, the king size bed! So comfy! What's also cool about the room is that the bathroom has a window area from the tub, where you can look into the main room or close it off for privacy with the shutter doors. It was especially nice to have this option, so you could watch TV while soaking in the tub (which I totally did!). Plus, there's a separate vanity desk area, so you don't have to share the bathroom when you're getting ready. They also provided toiletries, Keurig coffee pods, tea, cork screw (clever!), mini fridge, 425 Magazine, free wifi, and if you have any questions - you can text back the number that texts you when you check in and they will respond shortly after. There's even a shuttle that takes you anywhere on the resort grounds!
I highly recommend that if you're staying at Suncadia for the weekend, the Inn is a great option, as it really has that home-feel and relaxing vibe to it. I just wish I could've stayed longer! read more
