This restaurant was open and down the street from our Air BnB so we ended up going here for a late lunch when the first restaurant we tried to visit was closed for the 2 week August holiday. We sat outside since the day was nice. The language barrier was evident here and since the menu is in a chalkboard and all in French, this presented some difficulty in ordering. I could pick out most of the main ingredients in dishes but my husband had no idea what anything was on the menu. Since this was a late lunch-3pm-I wanted to stick to something light so I ordered a caprese salad. It ended up being huge! I enjoyed the addition of prosciutto and pesto. The mozzarella was very fresh as were the tomatoes. My husband ordered the bucatini with ham and mushrooms. The cream sauce was delicious and both the ham and mushrooms were plentiful in the dish. He gave me all of his mushrooms so I added them to my salad for added flavor. The pasta was a perfect lunch portion, and the pasta was cooked al dente. Instead of table bread, we were brought these little puffs that had sardines in them (or least that's what they tasted like). I'd recommend visiting here for an authentic meal, just know the service is very stereotypical French and it may hinder communication if you do not speak French. read more
