Cheese Alert! Cheese Alert! This is definitely cheese heaven for any of you cheese lovers out there. This amazing little Cheese Factory located in Madoc, Ontario is just a short drive from Campbellford, Marmara and Warkworth but if you're a cheese lover like me, it's not too far from anywhere. I drove all the way from Brampton, actually I was close by staying in Marmora (see my other review) but still this place was on my list of things to see. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, their selection is amazing and the cheese curds??? Ohhh lets just say they didn't make it back home to Brampton. They store is reminiscent of a time gone by, it has a very rustic feel like an old country store, I loved it. They even have ice cream and fresh hot dogs to go and I don't mean those chincy little dogs, I mean these are bigger than the buns, yes I got me one of those as well. This is not a store you want to rush in and out of. Go on in, take your time and have look around, they have all sorts of treats and neat things. You must try their dip, if you don't see it up front by the cash ask for it, you won't regret it. So if you're in the Peterborough area or around Hastings County, make sure to make your way over to visit this amazing cheese factory. read more
