My favorite restaurant in the area - I've been here a couple times and I've never been disappointed. It's very nice inside with lots of thematic decorations - antlers, skin/fur rags - and a fire place in the middle.
The staff is always extremely friendly and they wear traditional tyrolean outfits. Also, they speak very good English!
But most importantly, they have great food. The menu is good with lots of choices, but since it's a "hunting lodge", I would recommend their game. My favorite is their stew of small deer with red cabbage, which is absolutely delicious. Hands down the best game, I've ever had. However, everything we've tried here was great (except maybe tomato soup, which was average).
Their desserts are also awesome, the keiserschmarrn with plum sauce is wonderful, as well as apple strudel with vanilla sauce.
I can only recommend this place, I'm sure you won't be disappointed! read more
