Let me set the stage:
*Me trying to find a gown for a NYE cruise*
Me: this dress is perfect I love it!!!
My sister: Omg are you getting married?
Me: The hell? No?
*me frantically googling and finding out this beige dress with a lace outer layer was listed in their wedding section *
Fast forward to a sale....
Me: eff this I like this dress
So I bring it to Jam and say "chop it up! Make it a cocktail dress! Let's have some fun!!"
She worked with me, tested, probably almost cried chopping off such a large amount of material on this beautiful gown
The final product is exactly what I wanted!!! Better than the original!!!
