Java restaurant comes with incredibly high ratings so I was expecting something special. Java offers Indonesian food. The restaurant doesn't try to be colourful or pretty it's decorated very simply. The menu offers a wide range of chicken, beef, pork , vegetable and seafood options. I opted for Chicken Satay as a starter and then went for Fu Yung Hai. While I was eagerly waiting on my food the very humble owner provided me with some peanuts to keep me from eating my fingers. The Chicken Satay was smothered with beautiful Indonesian peanut sauce. This was amazing chicken. The main dish Fu Yung Hai which is an Indonesian style combination seafood omelette dish. This dish was delicious and the omelettes pieces were covered by a delicious sweet and sour sauce and fresh peas. This was really good and enjoyed finding the different bits of fish in the omelette. I really enjoyed the food it had incredibly flavour and the menu is incredibly big so you could return again and again and have something new. I will be back again define you as I want to try something spicy next time. Compliments to the owner as well. Made me feel very welcomed and offered to move me to a better table when it became free and was always on hand to check that everything was ok with my food.
