I don't live very close to this park but I think it is worth the trip. This park is perfect for all year long play. I enjoy how the park has multiple levels and I could sit up on the top and watch my child play. During the spring and summer there are plenty of shady areas to eat lunch and read there are also plenty of benches too. There are two playgrounds sets one for younger kids and one for the older kids. I love the rock and nature landscape to the park. There is even a small trail nearby that I haven't taken yet but had heard it short and leads to the neighbor hood. There are two pavilions inside the playground area and one larger pavilion outside the playground area by the restrooms, with a bbq pit this is a great place to have a party.
If you are in the area I'm sure you've been here before but I would highly recommend this park. If you are looking for a new place to check out, make the trek out to St. Charles, it will be worth it. read more
