We've been critical of here in past reviews and returned yesterday 1 March 24 for the first visit in a long time. It's only a take away so no ambiance to speak to. We got cod & chips pension specials and the battered fish which was real tasty was thin in 3 of the 4 nuggets. Honestly make it 2 or 3 nuggets and make the fish a bit thicker as batter should never out proportion the fish. Chips were perfection again the portion isn't generous. Gas prices have fallen electricity prices are going to drop and yes I know it's still dearer for everything but prices were increased benched in prices at their highest but costs have receded. We will return more often as its quality seems to be there. Staff are always very friendly. read more
