A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place Thursday, April 10 at 4 PM to roll out the new accessible pathways.
Charlottesville Parks and Recreation now has more than 3,400 square feet of new, accessible pathways that provide a smooth connection from the park's Sixth Street entrance to key amenities, including two playgrounds, a basketball court, and a newly constructed pedestrian bridge along the Moores Creek trail network.
The last time I was at this park it was closed and under construction. It's exciting for the community to have major improvements. read more
