This playground in Forest Park is pretty nice. They recently completed a renovation to this playground. Everything is new, pathways were redone. It's a nice playground for children however, there is no restroom facility, no fountains for hot summer days, the swings is in a isolated area away from the playground. It can get a little creepy. Numerous times I've seen old men without children just sitting there eye balling the kids and other times I often spot hood rat teenagers smoking pot on the park benches with no regard of the children who are running around them. It's despicable and annoying to deal with. On better days, there's always friendly local families who bring their children here. My son gets along with a lot of the toddlers that come play at this playground. My biggest complaint would be the lack of park security, cameras, and poor upkeep on it's lawn. The grass and weeds often go unmowed for weeks, debris and leaves often pile up in bunches all over the park. The parks department does a poor job at keeping this park clean and orderly. It's a shame because the city funded this playground with new equipment. read more
