I recently saw this business featured on Stl Bucket List and knew it was a place I had to try.
Over the years I was introduced to cold-pressed juices but sadly it was when I was out of town. I was elated to see this was a woman and black-owned business so naturally I wanted to come support. I got there right when they opened and was blown away by plants (in a good way) and everything the space encompassed.
The person behind the register quickly greeted me and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I mentioned I saw this featured on the Stl Bucket list instagram post and wanted to check out their juices. Unfortunately, I caught them at a bad time since they hadn't yet restocked but would be doing that later.
She explained they just had their grand opening on the first, and that this space used to be something else. While the instagram post was nice, it didn't do it justice. This place literally has something for everyone, especially those with green thumbs and a taste for all things tea/coffee. They even have crystals, art featured by local artists, candles, and snacks!!
I forgot the reason but at the moment, the smoothies and shots were u/a. Since I came there for the juice, I decided to get the Beet Happy. As I was asking her what she thought about each one, I couldn't remember what a beet tasted like or if I had ever had one for that matter. She said they have more of a metallic taste but when mixed in with the rest of the ingredients, you can't even taste it. Additionally, the one I chose was on the sweet side, so at that moment I was sold. I too my first sip and was in love. This tasted incredible and was even better than I was hoping for! It was fresh and something I could have devoured in ten seconds, but opted not to so I could truly savor the taste.
I can't wait to come back to try their smoothies and other juices. This place is open every day except for Monday, so hurry up and give them a try! read more
