Though others apparently have issues with keys being copied, my service by the Chinese couple at Kam Wan today was unique and excellent. I needed to replace the deadbolt latch & mechanism for a rather esoteric 6pin Schlage cylinder. Options were to go with a locksmith (calls around from Google start the proposition at $75 or thereabouts); or a hardware store replacement of the entire deadbolt assembly and re-keying (about the same starting price); or to pop into Kam Wan down the hill & let them rifle through their surplus parts (as any good fix-it shop has) for the perfect fix for around $20!! They saved me a good $50 by having an array of spare parts on hand and the intimate knowledge of an experienced locksmith. Once you get past the minor language barrier (obviated by the ease with which you can show the parts if you happend to bring them in like I did) and you've got the exact kind of service only a local repair shop can give you!
