Adventure, sunrises, birds, scallop shells, and panoramic views await you at Katama Point. Leave your bike on the road or get here on foot. This public beach allows gorgeous sunrise views, lots of shells for foraging and the most quiet and peaceful view I have found on the island. I'd recommend going early in the morning on your bike and catching the sunrise - the activity of the sandpipers and other birds is quite a treat to see. Or come when the tide is coming in - the sounds of the slight waves is better than any white noise machine. This is covered in rocks and shells - so don't expect to bring a towel to lay down on.
