I wonder if Kerry's Patching is related to Kerry Gold because his work is smooth as butter! Get it?? no? okay...so anywho I contacted Kerry to do some extensive stucco and some light drywall work per the recommendation on Nextdoor app. Anxious, I waited for his walk through because I was afraid of how expensive the price would be. But when he went over the options with me I was no joke elated with his pricing and said yes on the spot! He himself and his crew arrived around 9am and got to work. After a full days of work in demolitioning and prepping for cement, the sun was fading so they decided it would be best to come back the next day to do the patching. Day two the crew arrived a bit earlier and went to work. I like to observe when contractors work because I enjoy knowing how to do things however I was busy myself with tons of errands to do. by the time I got back, they were pretty much done, cleaning up and doing some finishing touches. It looked great! I asked him to give me a quote on some drywall corner cracks and peeling as well as an entire door frame needing drywall work. His price once again was great and he was back out a week later fixing those things as well. My wife is very happy with the work Kerry has done, we have put it off for over 2 years because of my lack of motivation...and now I just need to complete it with some paint. My take aways from this experience: Price 5/5, He might be the most fair priced patcher in all of the OC area. Punctuality 4.5/5, He didnt set a hard start time which can kind of keep you guessing and waiting but he did show up in the "morning" as promised. Work ethics: 5/5 he and his crew worked consistantly from start to finish with only a lunch break, thats impressive yall! Communication: 3.5/5. Kerry is a busy guy, once you get to speak with him, he will be up front with you that sometimes you wont hear from him and if you dont by a certain day to reach back out to him. Remember, he doesnt have a full staff answering calls for him or anything like that, hes truly running a small business by himself with the help of maybe 3 others in the labor side. He has to answer calls, return calls, come out to give bids all while patching peoples homes. All said and done, I'm glad to have done business with Kerry and his crew and will continue to do so. I'll also continue to recommend his business to others when they ask me if I know anyone that does patch work. read more
