recently visited Kimono for sushi and, unfortunately, was left quite disappointed. I ordered the Ninja Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll. The rolls were heavy on the rice, which overwhelmed the other flavors. Additionally, there was an off-putting funky taste that made the sushi comparable to what you'd find in a grocery store.
On a positive note, the waiter was extremely nice and friendly, providing great service throughout the meal. While the ambiance and service were pleasant, the sushi itself did not live up to expectations. It gets one star for bad food and the extra star for the great service. read more
