I recently checked out King Slice in West Toronto after hearing quite a bit of buzz, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I opted for slices instead of a full pizza so I could try more varieties and ended up going with the margherita, deluxe, pepperoni, and arrabbiata. All four were excellent, but the margherita and arrabbiata stood out as my favourites--surprisingly so, since I usually lean toward meat options. Service was nice - helpful staff. Provided suggestions and answered my questions The slices are massive--literally hanging off the plate--and the sauce was rich, flavourful, and tied everything together nicely. The arrabbiata, in particular, had a great balance of ingredients, including mushrooms and jalapeños, with just the right amount of heat to make it interesting without being overpowering. The spot is perfect for a casual grab-and-go meal, especially if you're heading to a park or want to enjoy a laid-back bite outside.
