Soul food is hard to come by in the burbs, but this is the real deal. Fresh fried catfish, pork chops with all the fixins. Kita has lunch deals too on weekdays. There are two tables inside if you want to dine in. We got the smothered pork chops which comes with two sides and corn bread and the catfish poboy. I was pleasantly surprised that she fried the catfish while we waited. The Poboy was excellent. The pork chops were so good, and I really loved the red beans and rice and the side of greens. I hope you give this place a try. Got to come back to try her gumbo too! Kita was super nice, and this is a great local restaurant. read more
